Vote for Saugatuck: America’s Happiest Seaside Town

saugatuckSAUGATUCK, Mich. (Feb. 14, 2014) — The Saugatuck-Douglas Convention & Visitors Bureau announced Friday that Coastal Living magazine has named Saugatuck as one of America’s Happiest Seaside Towns.  Now, it’s up to local voters to help decide if they can claim the top title.

Coastal Living readers are invited to go online and vote for their favorite among the 10 seaside towns from February 15, 2014 through March 31, 2014 to determine their rankings from No. 1 through No. 10.  Click here to cast your vote and check out the other cities competing with Saugatuck.

The results of the national vote will appear in Coastal Living‘s July/August 2014 issue, on sale June 20th.  Each town will be featured as part of their cover story devoted to “America’s Happiest Seaside Towns.”

    Yes, I would agree that it is a very gay town. Probably the gayest in MI.

    I just want to know when Michigan imported the sea water to make Saugatuck a seaside town. Last time I looked at a map, Michigan wasn't next to an ocean.
