KALAMAZOO, Mich. (March 11, 2014) — Community officials and leaders with Bronson Healthcare and Borgess Health will come together on March 11 for a major announcement surrounding Western Michigan University’s School of Medicine.
The event is at 1:15 p.m. and has been called a news conference and a community celebration, where a major development for the school is expected to be disclosed.
It takes place at WMU’s College of Health and Human Services building at Oakland Drive and Wheaton Street. This is the same place where officials announced a $100 million anonymous gift almost years ago that helped fund development for the medical school, which welcome its first class in the fall of 2014.
Those expected to take part in the announcement include the university’s president, the president and CEO of Bronson Healthcare, and the president and CEO of Borgess Health.
No further details about the announcement were available.
