Kentwood Seeking Public Donations For July 4th Events

Celebrating the 4th of JulyKENTWOOD, Mich. (March 28, 2014) — The Kentwood Parks and Recreation Department and the Kentwood Jaycees are asking for donations from citizens to support the city’s 4th of July celebrations.

In a Facebook post, the city described the events that are planned for Independence Day and asked for donations through the online fundraising site gofundme.com:

Plans are in development for fireworks, music, a carnival, and breakfast.
