PAVILION TOWNSHIP, Mich. (April 1, 2014) — Deputies in Kalamazoo County were involved in an investigation when they came across a meth lab inside a home, leading to three arrests.
According to the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office, around 3:30 a.m. on Apr. 1, deputies smelled a strong chemical odor coming from a home on East N Avenue.
They eventually got a search warrant for the home and, along with the Portage Department of Public Safety, found three people inside, as well as remnants of a meth lab that the suspects tried to destroy. They also found items used to make meth and suspected meth.
All three suspects were arrested and taken to the Kalamazoo County Jail.
