DETROIT, Mich. (April 5, 2014)- The Detroit Red Wings announced Saturday morning that they have signed East Grand Rapids native Luke Glendening to a three year contract extension with the team.

Glendening has played in 51 games this season with the Red Wings, as a second year pro, recording six points. He has also played in 18 games with the Grand Rapids Griffins registering twelve points with the Griffins.
