GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (May 5, 2014) — A few cool light rain showers will slide through West Michigan during the day Monday, but will be only a blip on what is otherwise a much more springlike forecast over the next week.

Rain will fall on parts of West Michigan mainly in the morning, with a bit of clearing possible late in the day.  Clouds will gradually clear out heading into Monday night, allowing for another fairly chilly start to the day on Tuesday.

We’ll have more sun during the day Tuesday, which will help to push highs into the 60s around most of the region.

Even warmer air will arrive for the middle to end of the week, with highs in the 70s and even low 80s.  The warm air will be sandwiched in between some scattered thunderstorms both Wednesday and Friday.
