Wyoming Man Sentenced for Double Fatal Drunk Driving Crash

KENT COUNTY, Mich. (May 14, 2014) — Joseph Jay Ford was sentenced to between 12-and-a-half and 30 years in prison for causing a drunk driving crash that killed a young West Michigan couple.

Andrea Herrera, 20, and Eric Fisher, 23, were killed in October 2013 after a crash at the intersection of 36th Street SE and Patterson Avenue in Cascade Township.

According to the Kent County Prosecutor’s Office, Ford had numerous prior alcohol-related offenses.
