Radar suggests wind gusts should start out around 40mph as the main line moves onshore for Muskegon area.
Part of the issue is that this morning’s storms made the air more stable. If we had been sunny all morning, this would be much more significant. That’s why we’re going to closely watch the southern end of this line, closer to I-94… that’s where things could blow up more where temps are pushing 80°.
NWS not in a hurry to issue severe thunderstorm warnings for the squall line yet… waiting to see if gusty winds can make it to the surface as it comes off the lake.
