Well praise the Lord that the Walker gestapo and the Michigan liquor board shut down the Venue for jello wrestling and body paint, events that were organized by a nightclub event marketing company that have hosted identical events at hundreds of other locations throughout Michigan and several other states. I witnessed a Walker City police officer break up a euchre tournament hosted by one of the local churches at The Venue and write them a ticket for illegal gambling. The Church that was sponsoring the non-profit fundraiser even had the necessary permits. Someone with pull in the City Counsel had a personal vendetta. Meanwhile there are shootouts a mile down the road and the Bob has three falling deaths and gets a 10 day suspension.
