Parts of Kalamazoo County Slammed by Storms

vicksburg storm damage1KALAMAZOO COUNTY, Mich. – The storms that rolled into West Michigan Monday night and into Tuesday morning left their mark on the small Kalamazoo County community of Vicksburg, population 2,900.

Viewer photos show large trees topped across the town.  Trees were thrown into homes and into vehicles that were no match for Mother Nature.

Downed power lines are causing problems across West Michigan.  Tens of thousands of Consumers Power customers were powerless Tuesday morning.
