BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (July 4, 2014) — Two people were transported to the hospital with serious injuries Friday following a head-on crash on Capital Avenue NE at Convis Street.
The crash happened at about 9:12 a.m. after a Chevy Blazer traveling at a high rate of speed crossed a double yellow line into the path of a Chevy truck, according to Battle Creek Police.
The driver of the Blazer, a 37-year-old Bellevue woman, and the 21-year-old driver of the truck were both transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
Police said the crash remains under investigation.
