WYOMING, Mich. — A chihuahua named Otis was discovered Monday underneath a Salvation Army truck.
It’s believed that he may have gotten away from his home during the tornado.
Johana Ortiz and Matt Grudzinskas have been taking care of him. They said a worker blocking the road during tornado clean up handed Ortiz the dog.
The worker hoped Ortiz could find the owner.
The couple said they went to the address on his dog tag. The man that lives there said he gave Otis away.
The couple posted notices on Craigslist and Facebook about the missing dog. However, the mystery as to where the dog came from and how he ended up alone remains.
