No, more like another bicyclist acting the fool. I have to disagree with your observation, because I believe that this was a disaster waiting to happen, and it didn’t matter where or why…It could have happened on the West, North East, or even the downtown area – it just happened to be on the South side of town that it did happen. These bicyclists think nothing of riding in the traffic lane, or in the middle of the street, and vehicle drivers are just supposed to “be nice”… It’s a matter of consideration, people – bicycles don’t go as fast as cars, so move over, and for the love of Mike, OBEY THE TRAFFIC LAWS! Don’t run that red light just because there is nobody coming, and you can – and yes, I have seen this many times in all parts of the city – and MOVE OVER!! drivers are ticked enough that you’re allowed to use the roads without paying any taxes, and now you expect that they’re just going to follow behind you, while going at a snail’s pace? Nah – I’m not saying this was justified, or that it was right – driver should be punished – at least for firing the gun in the city limits of GR.

Apparently you don’t know the laws in Michigan pedestrian’s have the right of way. A bicyclist had the right of way. You need your license taken away til you can understand the laws.

      • sad cyclist :(

Have you thought of the benefits of more people riding bicycles, rather than motor vehicles? Probably not. Judging by your comment, I doubt you actually read the 2 paragraphs in the article.
