Anonymous tip leads deputies to marijuana grow operation in Calhoun County

ALBION, Mich. — Deputies in Calhoun County seized about 70 marijuana plants after they responded to an anonymous tip.

Around 10 p.m. on July 23, police responded to the tip, found a marijuana grow operation at a home on West Erie Street and also took about $1,000 in cash from the home.

Deputies made contact with a 43-year-old man at the home, but did not make any arrests. They have since turned the case over to the county prosecutor’s office for manufacturing and delivery of marijuana.

moronic waste of taxpayers dollars… to convict a man hurting nobody… who we then have to house and feed. Meanwhile, someone within 900′ of that spot beat their wife, or fondled a child, or who knows what.

This is absolutely ridiculous! I don’t see them once say in this article that he is a “care giver” for sick patients with cancer! Its sad that they can write this about a man so the public can see, but not let the community acknowledge he does it for a good cause!
