Actor Robin Williams found dead in northern California home

TIBURON, California- Actor and comedian Robin Williams is dead after what police are calling an apparent suicide.

According to CNN he was found inside his home on Monday; he was unconscious and not breathing. The coroner suspects his suicide was due to asphyxia.

The actor was last seen alive at his home around 10 p.m. Sunday night.

Williams, who was known for films like Hook and Mrs. Doubtfire, had gone back to rehab last month to deal with alcohol addiction.

The Marin County Sheriff told CNN  that Williams had been battling severe depression lately and that his family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time.

Williams was born in Chicago but grew up in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.

He was 63 years old.

    But should have known Attention wh@re Obama would have to go and make a statement-
    Which has nothing to do with him!
    He really thinks he is King of all- People, Performers and politics!
    Robin was the ultimate funny man and this is a darker world without him- He brought so much joy to so many- 😂
    He’s probably hanging out with Belushi, Farley, Candy, and John Pinnette-
    We the public were blessed to have him for the time we did
    He will be missed.

    Okoume….I think his point was bama should have more pressing things ( Iraq, Syria, Gaza, the UNITED STATES ) to be worrying about what celebrities have died or proclaiming as HEROES, whatever athlete has decided to share their sexual perversions with the world this week.
