FERGUSON, MO (KTVI) – Saturday afternoon Governor Jay Nixon spoke to the residents of Ferguson and the media at the Greater St. Mark’s Family Church in north St. Louis County.
Governor Nixon ordered an immediate curfew for the city of Ferguson to start Saturday night from Midnight to 5 am. The curfew will be enforced by the Missouri State Highway Patrol who has operational control of security in Ferguson. The governor also issued a state of emergency for Ferguson.
Nixon stated the “Eyes of the world are watching”, as he local officials are working to calm tensions in the community and resolved the crisis in Ferguson since the shooting of Michael Brown one week ago.

Why are they not talking about the fact the kid was a bully, WATCH THE VIDEO!!!!!!!! He also WAS TRYING TO TAKE THE OFFICERS GUN!!!!!!! GET THE STORY RIGHT!!!!!!! IF THE KID WAS SMART HE WOULD HAVE NOT WENT AFTER THE OFFICERS GUN AND NOT ROB THE STORE!!!!!! So all this protesting is a bunch of other bullys!!! The officer did nothing wrong. Also everyone on the street should get fined.
