GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Three men accused of robbing a woman at gunpoint early Wednesday morning are in custody, and so are two other people who were in the car at the time police caught up with them.

The robbery happened in a parking lot near Division and Cutler.  Police say three men approached a woman who was sitting in her car, pointed guns at her, and stole a necklace before leaving the scene.

The victim was able to give a description of the suspect vehicle, which officers located not far from the scene of the robbery.  When they stopped the car, they found five people inside, three of whom were the robbery suspects.  Two others were arrested on a variety of unrelated drug and weapons charges.

Officers also recovered a sawed-off shotgun and a handgun.  All five suspects were taken into custody.
