NEWAYGO County, Mich. -- This year, Tri County Area Schools made changes to bus stops on M 82 near Cottonwood.
Back in May, Lisa Briggs reached out to FOX 17 and complained about the bus stops her children used everyday to get to
and from school.
The buses would stop on the edge of M 82 as vehicles traveled at least 55 miles an hour past them.
Briggs felt the buses some times failed to pull over a safe distance from the roadway.
