COMSTOCK PARK, Mich.–Thursday evening over 480 people attended a fundraiser involving a talent show with local Pastors. The event was held at English Hills in Comstock Park and over $66,000 was raised.
Ten churches from the northeast side of Kent County participated in the talent show portion of the fundraiser for North Kent Community Services (NKCS). For the past 41 years, the organization has helped provide food, clothing, furniture, tax assistance, senior meals, rent, utilities, holiday baskets and more.
Some of the talents included singing, a magic show, “who’s on first” act, and the winning act being a “Blues Brothers” performance by Fr. Tony and Fr. Mike (pictured above) from Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church in Rockford.
