GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Three people were injured Friday after a head-on crash in in the 3000 block of Fillmore Street.
According to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department, the crash happened at about 3:30 p.m. when a driver traveling eastbound on Fillmore lost control of her vehicle, crossed the center line and struck a westbound vehicle.
The 19-year-old Mount Pleasant woman driving the eastbound vehicle was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
The people in the other vehicle, an 18-year-old woman from Howell and an 18-year-old man from Grand Blanc, were both transported to the hospital and are in stable condition.
Officials say Fillmore street was closed for about one hour following the crash.
