GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Former Catholic school tutor Abigail Simon was found guilty Wednesday of sexually assaulting a teenage student.
Simon, 35, was found guilty on four of the five charges against her, three counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and one count of accosting a minor for immoral purposes.
She was accused of having an ongoing sexual relationship with a then-15-year-old boy. The victim is now 17.
During the course of her trial, both Simon and the teen took the stand. Simon's attorney argued that she was the victim.
She could face up to life in prison and will be sentenced at a later date.
