DETROIT, Mich. — James Robertson’s 21 mile trek to and from work every day garnered worldwide attention after his story was published in the Detroit Free Press.
Now, he has a new car. The Detroit Free Press reported Friday that a Sterling Heights dealership donated a 2015 red Ford Taurus to Robertson after seeing his story.
Robertson will also reportedly be featured as “Person of the Week” on ABC’s World News Tonight. Evan Leedy, the Wayne State student who started a GoFundMe page for Robertson that raised more than $300,000, and Blake Pollock, the banker who told the Free Press about Robertson, will also be featured.
