DETROIT, Mich. — Police are searching for at least two suspects after a federal judge was shot outside his Detroit home, WJBK reports.
Terrence Berg was shot in the leg and rushed to an area hospital. His current condition is unknown.
Investigators in Detroit also tell FOX 2 a suspect vehicle involved may be a black Chrysler 300 series or Dodge Charger.
Berg was nominated to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan in April 2012, later confirmed by the U.S. Senate that year. Prior to that nomination, Berg served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Eastern District of Michigan for more than 20 years.
