COOPERSVILLE, Mich. – A group of horses made it to safety after being evacuated from a barn fire.
Police and Fire responded to a reported barn fire at the 200 block of W Cleveland St. just after 10:30 a.m. Saturday. The initial call said that there were horses inside the barn on fire.
Upon arrival, the barn was found to be ‘fully involved’ and engulfed in flames, but all of the horses inside were reportedly evacuated safely.
Crews remain on scene as of 12:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
