GRAND RAPIDS, MI. — Winter Weather Advisories have been posted across our northern counties from 2:00 A.M. Sunday morning through Noon. Oceana, Newaygo, Mecosta, and Montcalm are under the gun for the possibility of some accumulating snow overnight and through Easter Sunday morning. One to three inches are possible, especially on grassy surfaces and colder areas as a front sets up over the state.

Locations from around Grand Rapids southward will see the chance of just some light rain showers. Temperatures will also range from the low/mid 40s north, to around 60 across our southern counties on Sunday. Unfortunately, this stationery front will be the focal point more rain chances the next several days along with drastic temperature differences between our north and south counties. Call it a “more unsettled pattern.”

It’s not uncommon to see snow showers in April. As it stands, Grand Rapids snow total for the season is currently at 78 inches. Get the complete West Michigan forecast at www.fox17online.com/weather.
