1506925GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A diving coach has been charged with multiple counts of criminal sexual conduct for an alleged inappropriate relationship with a 15-year-old dive student.

Records show that Don Glass, 34, turned himself in on a felony warrant for his arrest on multiple charges of criminal sexual conduct as well as a charge of child sexually abusive activity.  He was arraigned Friday afternoon and his bond was set at $250,000.

Glass is accused of initiating a sexual relationship with a then-15-year-old female East Grand Rapids High school student. Investigators said the relationship carried on for about four years. However, he’s only being charged for the incidents that took place between 2011, when the alleged relationship began, and 2013.

Investigators said Glass had sex with the student at his home over the course of those two years. Adding, that he also took nude photographs of her.

Court records show the relationship only recently ended and the the victim is 19 years old.

Glass had been serving as a diving coach for both East Grand Rapids Public Schools and Forest Hills Public Schools, as well as for the Grand Rapids Diving Club.

FOX 17 confronted Glass about the charges at his home earlier this week, but he said he had no comment and closed the front door.

In a statement released Friday morning, East Grand Rapids Public Schools said the district learned on April 2 of the criminal investigation involving Glass and that Glass no longer has access to any of their facilities. They go on to say that the inappropriate relationship was with a student who has since graduated from the district and involved no other students.
