DETROIT, Mich — Tigers relief pitcher Joe Nathan will have season-ending surgery to repair a tear in his UCL and flexor pronator.
This comes just one day after Nathan, 40, left a rehab assignment after just 10 pitches with pain in his right elbow.
The Tigers said the surgery will take place at a later date.
