KALAMAZOO, Mich. — One person was taken to the hospital following a shooting Wednesday.
It happened around 12:00 p.m. outside a home in the 2500 block of Hazel Avenue. The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety said a 21-year-old man was reportedly shot in the driveway. Police said he-was shot in the hip following an altercation. The victim was driven to the hospital and released with non-life threatening injuries.
Police said they have located a suspect, but the victim is not being cooperative.
