MUSKEGON, Mich. — A 34-year-old Muskegon man accused of conning several women out of thousands of dollars pleaded guilty Friday in Muskegon County Circuit Court.

According to Muskegon County Assistant Prosecutor Timothy Maat, Jeffery Lee Lucas, the ‘Sweetheart Swindler,’ pleaded guilty to two counts of felony larceny by false pretenses.   Lucas is a fourth-time habitual offender and faces a maximum of life in prison.
