ST JOSEPH, Mich. — A 26-year-old former teacher at St. Joseph High School faces up to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to criminal sexual conduct.
According to a release, Lauren Hill pleaded guilty Wednesday to two charges of second-degree criminal sexual conduct.
Officials say Hill had sex with a student under 16 years old. As part of the plea deal, two third-degree criminal sexual conduct charges involving the same student were dismissed.
Hill is scheduled to be sentenced at 1:30 p.m. July 6.
According to a release, she was a teacher at St. Joseph High School for four years and also coached girls’ soccer. She resigned May 1.
