MARTIN, Mich.–- The B-93 Birthday Bash 23 has been canceled for Sunday due to weather and ground saturation at US 131 Motorsports Park, according to the B-93 website.

The station said it consulted with law enforcement on the decision.

“The important thing is that everybody is safe… And, after evaluating this morning, the ground conditions and weather factor did not make today a safe day,” B-93 posted.

For those who had planned to come to the second day of Birthday Bash, B-93 is planning to credit all reserved tickets for Sunday. There will also include a “rain check” pass for all parking passes which will be redeemable for parking toward next year’s Birthday Bash on either Saturday or Sunday.

      Linda,

From what I understand, you keep your parking pass until next year and present it when buying some for next year at the discounted price.

Oh, Gee Darn! Such a shame! I guess we will have to deal without 5000 drunk drivers on the roadways today/this evening. I, myself listen to country at times and yes, B-93. Actually I listen to all types of music. But, I cannot believe law enforcement in this State has let this event go on for as many years as it has. Secondly, I am shocked B-93 can even find an insurance company to write the general liability insurance coverage for the venue. Has to be Lloyds of London at a hefty price tag!
