DAVISON, Mich. — A missing autistic boy was found dead after an extensive search.
Police were looking for the boy who went missing on July 4 in Gennesee County, and there was concern for his safety due to a severe case of autism.
Omarion Humphrey, 9, was last seen in the area of Lake Callis in Davison.
The Lapeer County Sheriff’s Mounted Unit asked those who had a camper at the Lake Callis Recreation Complex during the July 4th weekend thoroughly check the inside of it. Apparently, Humphrey was known to hide in cupboards and small places, and may have hidden away in a camper or RV.
Officials said there was no sign of foul play surrounding his death.
