LAYTON, Penn. —  The southwestern Pennsylvania home featured in the 1991 film The Silence of the Lambs is up for sale.

No. 8 Circle Street in Layton was used as the home of serial killer Buffalo Bill in the movie.

The 105-year-old house is owned by Scott and Barb Lloyd and is currently on the market for $300,000.

“They sent a bunch of people out in every steep valley in western Pennsylvania, looking for older houses and they just happened to find ours,” Scott Lloyd told WTAE.

In addition to a hefty paycheck, the Lloyds also received an autographed book for letting the film crew take over their house.

The Silence of the Lambs went on to win five Oscars, including Best Picture.
