Local kids get stopped by police officer, repairs bicycle

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Kids on the southwest side of Grand Rapids got some help from a local police officer on Wednesday.

Sgt. John Purlee, a 16-year veteran with Grand Rapids Police Department, repaired one of their bicycles and posed for a picture.
