WMU to unveil Grand Rapids renovations

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Western Michigan University is showing off its $5.5 million building renovation project at their Grand Rapids East Beltline location Thursday morning.

According to the school, the project was the first extensive renovation since the university purchased the 40,000 square-foot-facility in 1990.

The East Beltline location  is home WMU's educational leadership, family studies, social work, engineering and psychology degrees, as well as the Army ROTC Bronco Battalion.

There are about 850 students at the Grand Rapids downtown and East Beltline locations.
