6 GOP presidential candidates now attending Michigan Republican leadership conference

MACKINAC ISLAND, Mich. — Sen. Rand Paul will speak at the Mackinac Republican Leadership Conference in mid-September, the Michigan GOP confirmed Tuesday.

Paul, a U.S. Senator from Kentucky, is the sixth Republican presidential candidate to announce his attendance to the Mackinac Island conference, which will run from Sept. 18 to Sept. 20.

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, Sen. Ted Cruz, Former Hewlett Packard CEO Carly Fiorina, Ohio Gov. John Kasich and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker are all expected to be there as well.

Gov. Rick Snyder will also speak at the conference.
