HUDSONVILLE, Mich. — Police are investigating after a driver crashed his car into a tree because he inhaled a cleaning product just before the crash, the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department said.

It happened while the driver was traveling westbound on Bowler Road just after 5 p.m. on Saturday, according to police.

Deputies said the 47-year-old man inhaled Ultra Duster causing him to lose control of the car and hit a tree.

There is no update yet on his condition.
