HUDSONVILLE, Mich. – A former Grand Valley State University employee was arraigned Wednesday on charges of embezzling over $50,000.
Lynnea MacGeorge was the Athletic & Recreation Facilities Office Coordinator at Grand Valley since July of 2007. The charge is for embezzlement of over $50,000, but less than $100,000.
According to a GVSU spokesperson, campus police began investigating this past June when money was reported missing. MacGeorge resigned in June.
She’ll next be in court on November 19.
