WYOMING, Mich. — The effects of the water main break that led to the closing of Kenowa Avenue in Wyoming Thanksgiving night have turned out to be worse than originally thought.
Kenowa Avenue is expected to remain closed between Jacobs Street and 56th Street at least through Dec. 8, says a post on the City of Wyoming’s Facebook page.
“While water main work was completed early this week, more extensive work on the storm sewer is required than was earlier anticipated,” says the post.
Detours are posted, and local access to businesses and residential areas are available.
