GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Grand Rapids Police held their annual holiday outreach event and shopped for gifts with local kids.
17 kids from Coit, East Leonard, Palmer and Aberdeen Elementary schools got a chance to “Shop with a Hero” Wednesday at the Knapp’s Corner Meijer.
Each of the kids got $100 to spend. Most of the gifts purchased were things the kids were buying for someone else.
