KALAMAZOO, Mich. - A Kalamazoo woman whose brothers led police on a car chase and shootout has been convicted of restricting and obstructing officers after a standoff.
Amy Pelletier was convicted after a short trial Wednesday. She will be sentenced on January 4th.
Pelletier, along with her sister Michelle, were charged after holding police at a standoff in May. Earlier in May, Sean and Aaron Pelletier led police on a chase that ended in a shootout where Sean was killed and Aaron was wounded. Aaron Pelletier was bound over to trial Tuesday on weapons charges and fleeing from police.
