FENNVILLE, Mich. — Local couple, Megan and Tyler Brunsting were coming home from their honeymoon in Tennessee when they found themselves stuck in a snow storm on I-75 in Kentucky.  The couple says the weather wasn't too bad, but a string of car accidents ahead was causing the long back up.

They spent 13 long hours inside their car sitting in one spot on the highway.

Eventually the Governor of Kentucky declared a state of emergency which helped to push things along.  Tyler Brunsting says the National Guard was deployed to help clear up the mess.

Finally things started to pick back up, and after many long hours this couple was relieved to continue on their way home.

Although very frustrated, these newlyweds say this is one of their first big trials as a married couple.
