BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. — A man from St. Joseph was injured following a single car crash Thursday evening.

It happened just before 5:30 p.m. at Water Street and Vine Street in St. Joseph.

The Berrien County Sheriff’s Department said Greg Groen, 57, of St. Joseph was injured after he drove off the road and hit a fire hydrant. It is unclear if alcohol played a factor in the crash, but authorities continue to investigate.
