Man shot in Holland Township

HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A man is expected to recover after being shot early Sunday morning.

The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department said they responded to a report of shots fired just before 2:00 a.m. at a home in the 3000 block of 136th Avenue in Holland Township.

Deputies were told it was unknown if anyone had been hit.

When they arrived on scene, several vehicles had left and they received little cooperation.

Deputies said they didn’t locate any victims on scene.

Around 2:55 a.m., deputies were called to a local hospital. A man had a gun shot wound from the earlier incident. He is expected to survive.
