GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Grand Rapids police say a suspect has been arrested in a party store shooting from early February.

Two teens were shot outside Riordan’s Party Store in the 1700 block of Madison SE on February 6. One teen was shot in the leg and the other in the foot. The shooter was from a white van that drove up and fired several rounds.  Both teens were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Police say that on March 2nd, the Kansas City Police Department arrested the suspect after getting tips that there was a wanted person in their area.  The suspect waived extradition yesterday and will be brought back to Grand Rapids sometime next week.

The suspect’s name will be released after his arraignment on two counts of Assault with Intent to Murder and Felony Firearms.
