MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, Mich. -- A man was shot and killed Wednesday morning while driving in Muskegon Heights, and police are still searching for the suspect.
Muskegon Heights Police say the shooting happened at about 3:20 a.m. near Seaway Drive and Hoyt Street. The man was driving northbound on Seaway when he was shot, according to police.
A female passenger in the victim's vehicle sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Police believe the suspect opened fire from another vehicle and fled. No description of the suspect or their vehicle was released.
The victim's name was not released.
