LANSING, Mich. (AP) — The Michigan Supreme Court has ruled that police can pull over motorists whose license plates are obstructed by an object such as a bike rack or trailer hitch.

The unanimous opinion filed Tuesday concluded that the Michigan Vehicle Code requires motorists to attach their plates in a place where they can be seen without obstruction.

The high court overturned a Michigan Court of Appeals ruling that suppressed evidence seized from a truck that was pulled over because police couldn’t read the license plate. The court reinstated evidence in the felony gun and drug case against Charles Almando-Maurice Dunbar.

Dunbar argues that his Fourth Amendment protections against unreasonable search and seizure were violated. He and his attorney plan to meet Wednesday to discuss whether they want to appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court.

You, sir, are the fucktard here. If you are a law-abiding citizen, then cops have NO NEED to bother you. Dumbass is in trouble for FELONY gun and drug possession. DUH!! Don’t speed and make sure they can see your plates! Then they don’t have to wonder if your car or plate is stolen, Grow up. Be a man, not a whiny little punk. Maybe the dumbass facing the gun and drug charges was going to go kill somebody to rob them for drug money. Maybe he was going to sell drugs to someone YOU know. Maybe someone’s KID! Before you open your mouth maybe you should turn the ignorance off. Cops put themselves in DANGER every day to help protect decent people from the fucktards out there. Don’t be a fucktard and cops won’t bother you.

Not always the case. Cops will intentionally lie to write tickets. This use to be the exception, now finding a good cop is the exception. The state police are especially crooked. They will look for reasons to pull you over or make things up even when you’re not breaking the law. This usually happens when you’re the only one on the road and they’re bored. They have minimal oversight and the corruption goes to the top.

I always assumed you couldn’t have your plates obstructed, if you’re pulling a trailer, it has plates or supposed to. Please get all the low life’s running without insurance off our roads !!
