Oneida Twp. official arrested on embezzlement charges

ONEIDA TWP., Mich. – An Eaton County man has been charged with ten counts of embezzlement from Oneida Township.

Trevor Robinson was arrested Wednesday for allegedly writing unauthorized checks to himself and using his Oneida Township credit card for purchases not related to official township business.

Robinson was charged with five felony counts of Using a Financial Transaction Device, Stealing or Retaining without Consent, four counts of Uttering and Publishing and one count of Embezzlement by a Public Official over $50.

Judge Hoffman set Robinson’s bond at $200,000.
