Police looking for a suspect after a reported armed robbery at MSU residence hall

EAST LANSING, Mich. — Police in Lansing are on the lookout for a suspect after a reported armed robbery at a residence hall on the campus of Michigan State University.

It happened just before 9:30 p..m. on Thursday at East McDonel Hall.

The Michigan State University Police Department said the suspect is described as a as a black male, between 18 and 24-years-old with a thin build and approximately 5’11” tall. Police said he had a small black pistol and was last spotted north heading towards the River Trail. Any students in the area are asked to use caution.
