WYOMING, Mich. - Wyoming Police are looking for help in figuring out the circumstances around a shooting Thursday night.

Police say that a 19-year-old male from Wyoming was dropped off at Metro Health Hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his leg Thursday night about 8:00pm. They say that the victim and other potential witnesses are not being cooperative with police in the circumstances surround the shooting or even exactly where it took place.

Police say they are investigating whether or not the shooting could have happened in a parking lot near the annual carnival taking place in the parking lot of the old Studio 28 at 1350 28th Street SW.

Anyone with information should call the Wyoming Department of Public Safety at 616-530-7300 or Silent Observer at 616-774-2345.
